When most of our mental capacity is engaged in a specific task\, we lose the ability to focus on other issues. Likewise\, when people face food insecurity\, housing instability\, or limited access to needed resources\, these stressors can consume a significant portion of their mental bandwidth\, lowering their capacity to focus. This lecture considers how we can foster environments that buffer against these effects. \nLecture by Dean Benjamin Clemons \n URL:/event/more-than-the-score-tuned-out-how-scarcity-affects-mental-bandwidth/ LOCATION:MLC Cafeteria\, 1995 Luther Ct.\, New Ulm\, MN\, 56073\, United States CATEGORIES:Alumni,Community Event END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
